Hey guys,

Sorry haven't been on in a while, I've been doing a crap load of driving out to the country recently (Christmas, hot days, new year, today) and if they had some sort of frequent driver scheme, i should be eligible for something. I did 700kms today, which is a round trip from my place to Lakes Entrance. Such a nice drive and was good coz i was averaging 130-140km/h (I know bad Albie, your speeding and shit!). I was using my sisters car today cause its a little slower than my car. I was up at Portsea for New Year and I was doing around 140-150km/h!

No major driving trips till probably thursday when I'll be heading up to Cooma then Sydney (maybe!). Then back at work on monday.

Portsea was great. Had a few shots but there was one where I don't remember taking the picture (and the girl)... hmmm i think she was my new year pash (it was dark!).

On a side note... I'll be headed up to Portsea Pub for NYE 2006 this year should be fun! I'm still a little burnt from the beach earlier this week (Sandringham beach on tuesday / Torquay Surf Beach on friday...). My car was on bling bling mode and nearly caused a couple of accidents on the Geelong Freeway on friday morning because of the shiny rims... damn stupid mirror finish. There were a lot of hot blonde chicks though hehe ;)

Tis the season of giving... therefore you'll be broke for quite some time.

Any changes that will be done to the car has been put on hold till the new year (so no Air Con till next year). I know i work full time but its just really annoying that I don't have any money because of the christmas period then also i have a shitload of birthdays to go to in febuary.

Also being single at this time of year doesn't help either because everywhere you go, people have paired off and doing couply things!

This is why i hate this time of year.

Oh yeah i have to post up a couple of picture albums later.

My radio is still stuffed so when i went to Rye with Nikki there was no bloody radio... oh well

I tried to sort it out today but it seems to be working but still no luck (not turning on but the thing is still moving).

I might have to stop by JB Hifi or HiFi Supermarket later on and arrange a time to get the stupid thing fixed.

You may be wondering who Sky is.... its the name that I've called my car (The numberplate has SKY-180).

A little bit of a back story... a few months ago she was involved in an accident which pretty much kept her off the road till now.

Shes back... but she'll be going in for a full service tommorow to make sure that everything mechnacally is working tommorow and then hopefully if i have time tommorow afternoon, I'll be pulling out the center dash to hook up the new head unit (the current radio doesn't tune to Australian FM channels, only Japanese Radio).

I was going to get new rims for the car but I'll leave them as is... I dunno but the stock feel of it is something that has grown on me (no stupid bodykits or neon lights for Mz Sky :D).

Oh yeah I was at training today for work and the trainer told me that I don't listen to people... i was soo shocked when i heard that because people always complement me about how i listen to them... oh well.

Yes cars are more expensive than girlfriends!

Will be glad for this week to be over too... 2 days to go till Rye :D

Training day headache

We had some new people start in our department today. For some strange reason, the headache that I initially got pretty much the first week I started working there came back. I guess it was the fact that I had to explain what the hell I was doing and at the same time demonstrate it. The girl (I should say woman cause she's old enough to be my aunty) is a bit shy and I know she used to work in our sales department out in Burwood but I think if she gets a good kick up her butt (literally), she'll be fine. She just needs to be a bit more agressive I guess. I'll bring it up with her probably tommorow.

I just realised that the year is nearly over and in fact next month is december. So can't wait for the first weekend where pretty much I'll be pretty much not be surrounded with any communications gear or computer related (my phone will be left in the car). I'm headed up to Rye next weekend for some RnR and a fair bit of sun! The bonus is that, there won't be any schoolies people to see... I get enough immature school kids on the train to work in the morning... Part of the reason why I'm convinced that I'll be driving to work 3 times a week.

A week and a half to go... yay!!!!

First off... i'd like to say happy birthday to my best friend who is like a sister to me. Happy birthday Bec... your simply awesome...

Normally I bring my camera around and take pictures to add to my photo journal. Anyways, that didn't happen much this time because I think I was worried that it would get wet with the beer and alcohol. The party was at Elephant and Wheelbarrow on Bourke St...

It was weird last night... Bec kept grabbing me but I guess it was the alcohol. Trust me people, nothing will happen cause shes like a sister to me so nothing is going to happen! :)

Funny thing happened last night though, Greg was chatting up this chick well not chatting up but more making conversation so that my friends brother can go and have a conversation wit her (Greg is taken) and well the danish chick that he was chatting to just skitz it because she didn't believe that he was Australian (he looks italian but he was born here). Anyways moral of this short paragraph of a story is that there are some crazy ass chicks out there! Beware Beware... should you meet one... run like hell!!!

I've been on the net since I got up this morning (around 12am - 1pm) and pretty much my brain has been friend due to being too much infront of the laptop. I was doing a couple of things all day, firstly looking for some accomodation down Rye and Sorrento way for the first weekend of December.

I found 3 hotels that I liked but the one I really liked was booked out (One Four Nelson) but I'll give them a call tommorow and see if they have any spare rooms :)

The other thing I was searching for was a car for a friend. Basically he laid down a challenge where I had to find a car for less than $15000 (this is including on road costs etc so really around $12000 at most for the cost of a car). I found a old porsche 944 back from 1982 (yeah thats my vintage... man i'm getting old).

Stupid camera cable

Went out last night to Chaise Lounge in the city last night. Had heaps of fun... and took a whole heap of photos. Guess what happened this morning. I forgot that I gave Hugh the cable to borrow so I can't transfer the pics from the camera. To make matters worse, my laptop has a memory card reader but I got the laptop repaired a few weeks ago but they forgot to reinstall the memory card reader into the system. soooo annoying. Oh well hopefully i'll get that fixed next monday (w00t for RDOs).

I'll upload the photos hopefully tommorow anyways :)

I haven't updated this for awhile coz I have a life outside this computer... ok I know people who know me pretty well would disagree otherwise. I went to pretty much most of the Spring Racing Carnivals events this year and I realised that if I want to save money, probably be best if I apply to be a VRC member or something,

Ok so I know nothing about horses but i'm sure katherine_adams would know a thing or two about them....

I do have to add that through out the entire event, I only saw a couple of horses... and alot of fillies :)

I've got photos but I recently got my computer fixed and there is no software installed on it at the moment. Once I get the photo upload software up and happening, I'll post up the link for the photos (I didn't take many photos because I found it very difficult to operate a camera as the day progressed)...

I'll probably have a quiet weekend this weekend, and possibily spend time with some friends tonight.

I've had a very tiring week, I still haven't properly recovered from Saturday night / sunday morning. I was planning to have an early night on monday night but I went to Emily's engagment dinner at Zagames on Sydney Rd and pretty much didn't get home and sleep till 1.30am. The funny thing was that Michelle was there and I was having drinks with her and Karina at the bar that night. My friend Sonya told me last night that she saw me with a girl and I told her that she wasn't my girlfriend, it was Michelle. She's such a goose that girl.

In other news, I been staying away from the computer because its being a bit of a drainer. Also one of the girls from Saturday night, Lisa, I've been chatting to. Too bad shes taken... story of my life lol
